Privacy Policy

BetterPrompt is designed to respect your privacy. The app does not require an account and does not collect information such as your name, email address, contacts, or precise location.

Your prompts

When you tap Improve My Prompt, the text you entered is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which passes it to an AI provider that produces the improved version. This is how the app works and it is the only purpose the text is used for.

• Your prompts are not stored on our servers.
• Your prompts are not written to our logs. We record only technical details such as timing and error codes.
• Your prompts are not used to train any model by us.
• The improved result is returned to your device and is not kept.

Our current AI provider is DeepSeek. Processing takes place on their infrastructure, which may be outside your country or region, and their own terms and privacy policy apply to that processing. If we change providers, this page will be updated.

Please do not enter passwords, payment details, health information, or other sensitive personal data into any AI tool, including this one.

Analytics

BetterPrompt uses Aptabase to collect anonymous usage events that help us understand how the app is used and improve it. Aptabase does not use device identifiers, cookies, fingerprinting, or long-term user identifiers, and analytics events are not linked to an identifiable person.

These events record counts, timings, error codes, and a rough size range for the text involved. The content of your prompts and of the improved results is never included in analytics.

Advertising and tracking

The app does not contain advertising and does not track you across apps or websites.

Children

BetterPrompt does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
