Live Pinyin Camera Lens (“Live Pinyin” below) points at Chinese text and prints tone-marked pinyin above it, live through the camera.

Common questions

Nothing appears over the text. Recognition needs reasonable light and a reasonably flat page. Hold steadier or move a little closer.
How do I hold a page still? Tap Freeze. The picture stops so you can pinch to zoom, and tapping a line enlarges it.
How do I keep a page? Freeze it, then tap Save. Saved pictures live under the menu, in Stored images.
Where are my saved pictures? On the device, in the app’s own folder. Open one to zoom it, share it, or delete it.
What is free and what costs? Thirty minutes of live camera time are free. After that, a one-time purchase unlocks unlimited camera time. Example images and saved pictures stay free.
I bought it and reinstalled the app. Open the menu, choose Unlock full version, and tap Restore purchase.
No camera available. Where the camera cannot be used, the app offers bundled example images so you can still see how it works.
