Yes. Tap the menu button (top right) and use the Font Size slider. It adjusts both the text you enter and the pinyin results, and your choice is remembered next time.
No. All conversion happens on your device, and your text is never sent to a server or shared. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Pinyin Helper converts standard Chinese characters. Punctuation, numbers, emoji, and non-Chinese text are shown as-is without pinyin. If you find a common character that isn't converting correctly, please email us the example so we can look into it.
The app converts Chinese characters (Hànzì) to Hanyu Pinyin. It runs on iPhone with a recent version of iOS.
