That is intentional. BetterPrompt rewrites your prompt so it produces better results; it does not answer it. Copy the improved prompt and paste it into the AI tool you normally use.
First check your internet connection, then tap Retry in the status bar. The check runs once when the app starts, so it can be out of date — you can still tap Improve My Prompt and it may well work. If it keeps failing for more than a few minutes, please email us.
Yes. The service scales down when nobody is using it, so the first request after a quiet period takes longer to start up. Later requests are faster.
It keeps requests fast and reliable. If your prompt is longer, improve it in sections, or shorten it to the essential instructions first.
The improved text is fully editable once pasted, so you can add anything that was missed. If a detail is dropped consistently, please email us with an example — it helps us tune the app.
No. Prompts are sent to an AI provider to produce the improved version and are not stored on our servers or written to our logs. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail, including who that provider is.
Close and reopen the app, then restart your device. Also make sure you are using the latest version of BetterPrompt and a current version of iOS.
Email us with a short description of the problem. If possible, include your device model, iOS version, app version, and the steps that caused the issue. Please do not include any prompt text you would rather keep private.
